When I was at UC Berkeley Law, I paid off tuition by teaching at the college. One course I co-taught was, The Politics of Music: A survey course covering the intersectionality of local music and politics around the world (think Tango and Argentine nationalism).
The course later inspired me to develop the 3E Lens that I now actively use when traveling. This lens has enhanced my emotional engagement with the travel destination (a good example is this trip to Togo), and has ensured that the experience becomes part of my identity and life journey.

As a history aficionado, I use my love for politics and history to dissect the destination and learn about what makes the country tick socially, politically, and economically.

This helps transform me from a passive tourist into an engaged traveler. By activating my mind and making me think critically, I develop a stronger connection to each destination.

A lover of fitness and with an insatiable curiosity, I exercise in each destination and go off the beaten path to take in the nature and see all that the culture offers the intrepid traveler.

By challenging your body and putting yourself way outside your comfort zone, you invariably grow strong, more resilient, and confident in who you are and what you can achieve.

Each destination has its own unique flavor of food, music, art, sports and overall entertainment that engages the five human senses: Taste, Touch, Smell, Sight, Sound.

By stimulating your senses, you can better understand and appreciate the world around you thereby warming your soul and creating a lifetime of memories.
